Aim of master’s program
The aim of master’s degree programs offered at the School of Public Administration is to prepare highly qualified managers who possess a broad range of analytical and practical skills.
What makes the master’s programs at SPA unique is the fact that an emphasis is placed not only on the acquisition of knowledge in a specific field but also on the formation of a comprehensive and systemic understanding of the problems of management. A broad fundamental knowledge base prepares graduates for future independent research and develops professional skills in a diverse array of fields. The programs’ courses are taught by top instructors of Moscow State University as well as special guest lectures from other institutions and organizations. The study programs incorporate the latest academic achievements and innovations of the professors and teaching staff at the School of Public Administration. The master’s programs include a diverse array of study formats, including traditional lectures combined with seminars and interactive learning methods, such as business situation games, situation analysis, roundtable discussions, group projects and more.
